I had something very similar and it was simply the connectiong wire between the saddle packs...

If you havent ried a new one do so

Don't give up, fella. we want to know what caused it.
try borrowing a different transmitter from a friend & bind it to your car, my direction of thought is if you have a loose battery connection or something like that in your TX, it will cut off the transmission momentarily and the receiver will go to fail safe mode. worth a check anyway.
best of luck finding the gremlin.

Hi again folks,

Just a quick update on this problem I've been having.

It was the lipo's.

I think this was mentioned earlier on this post but I honestly did not think I would have two lipo's go bad at the same time. They both check out okay on both charging and discharging, but there is obviously something not quite right with them. I have bought new Nosram lipos and had my first meeting where I finished every race.

I feel a bit stupid now after all that soldering etc.:bored: but at least I'm a happy bunny at last.

Thanks for all your ideas and posts.

I had a similar problem at the start of the year. Mine wasn't quite as bad, it didn't make the car cut out, but it glitched BADLY all the time. I too changed everything.
Eventually I got some new LiPo's and hey presto, problem solved. I tried the old ones and they didn't work so got mega stressed, and threw them at the floor when they wouldn't charge.....

.....My brother now uses the old pack without a problem!!
There was something obviously not connecting right in the pack, and when it had the jolt as it hit the floor, it must have knocked something back into place!

...not that I'm telling you to throw your LiPo's around, as its not a good idea really....a moment of madness. lol

I experience the same problem when the car suddenly stoped, it was the jumper wire (Bullet Connector) of the lipo.
