I'm using my nearly 10 year old Ko Mars with a Spektrum module and I've not had any problems with it. Not quite the response you're looking for i'm sure but thought I'd contribute anyway!

I have a KO Universe and I have always used the Spektrum module and receiver and I have never had any problems with binding.

I have problems with driving but thats another story.

Hi Guys,

Now this technology is further down the road whats peoples experience with the KO 2.4 systems?

I have been holding off going to 2.4 but now seems like a good time to switch as it just appears easier.

Can someone explain about the binding process please, I thought once a module and receiver had been bound that was that? Now many receivers can be bound to single module. I'm thinking about meeting running 2 and 4wd on the same day. Do you have to bind the 2wd, run it, then bind the 4wd, then the 2wd and so on? I hope thats not the case, that would get old very quickly.

My last question is how do you know you are getting the latest revision of hardware before you remove it from the box?

Thanks.

Haven't used the KO 2.4, but my Helios with Spektrum module has work very well. Although I'm now looking to sell it for a Spektrum DX3R

you can bind to several receivers; just change your tx model when switching cars. no need to rebind when switching models. this is using ko 2.4, not spektrum.
