For me its not the actual shock body or spring that i think makes the difference but its the make up of the losi piston, the edges are rounded apposed to the squared AE ones as well as the 3 hole losi to AE's 2 holes. Even when i used AE shocks on the X6 i still used losi pistons. I think this is the biggest difference and probably the cheapest component :thumbsup:
