i haven't been on raceshat for a few years. it's only for boring cars anyway. Never had any good offroad info. And like others have said, you aren't allowed to give decent advice to encourage the hobby, or you get a ban!!
Can't we just shut his site down, it will probably boost the numbers of newbies in RC!!

Well, it was not long after he went 'Pay per view' before then, it was a good site, but then you had to pay for things. Then he offered 'sponsored' sections, where you could have a section, like a forum in a forum, your colours and what not. Was running for Academy then (good ole days, huh, Mr Grunil). But it all went to shit, wasn't in the team colours, you were having 'banner ads' to, lets just say, I was privvy to the PM's that went on, and got banned.

Couldn't leave it rest, re-registered a few times, and in the end, he was soooo pissed off that basically said, if I tried to register again, he would contact his lawyer blah blah.... guys a little Hitler....

All he is bothered about is how much money goes into his pocket than actually supporting the hobby. I dont even think there is actually many paying members on that website now days.

Also you can find so much info on here & many other forums for free.
The folks on here are so much better & have good bit of banter.

Racechat used to be very good, and was very informative too, but then he decided to want to make money, and have rules and what not, since then, it has never been the same. Don't get me wrong, you register, you sign up to the rules, and it is up to Rob how strictly those rules are enforced.

I know when Jimmy set this up, he was a regular visitor here, but mainly browsing.
