The area we will be racing on seems ok at the moment. Its a little damp but the area normally dries quickly. Hopefully we should be ok

_sleigh_ 03-07-2007 04:36 PM

That's clever, you're in Dudley :D

Seriously, thanks for the update. Spoke to Geoffo last night and he says it looks OK for the weekend, but obviously trying to predict the forecast would be hard.

Updates will follow (from me or Mossy) on the situation, and should the worst happen when Geoff will send out an e-mail in my absense.

Don't forget, get your entries in early!!!!

Check the Mid-west web site there should be an address and map on there.

Got it, it's only five minutes from my work.

If anybody is interested in running your 4wd Buggies at the Stoke 2wd Regional, Geoff has said that he will be willing to put a heat on for us. You can contact him at [email protected]
Thanks, John

The weather doesn't look bad for a change!

Is the school well sign posted? This'll be the first time I go to Stoke.... Is there any more directions I need to know?

Is the track grass?

andy reeves 07-07-2007 08:38 PM

is it the school at the back of the sports centre as shown on the clubs website?

neiloliver 07-07-2007 08:53 PM

dont think so Andy, the indoor track is at Fenton. I believe the outdoor is at Wolstanton. I dont think there is a map on the club website, you need to look at the mid west website, the only problem is that the red circle appears a little too high, i think the school is the building about 100m south of the red circle...

Can anyone confirm all this?

So what did people think of the meeting? It was good to be back racing again. I thought the track held up very well considering all the rain we had and it was definatly a challange when the track got slippy. I had a good race with JP in the final but there was just not enough grip to get past :D

sorry Chris it wasn't meant to be a show stopper :( yea good race Andy, it was a hard fight and I had to use plenty of defensive tight lines into corners!.
