+1. Only had mine a month now, but compared to the Nokia N81 that i had before, the iPhone a great phone IMHO.

Honestly N series handsets are just as bad if not worse than the E series.
NEVER buy one from the first batch, always wait until the firmware has been updated. Internet connection speeds on handsets is not brand dependant it is network dependant. 2g (2nd generation using GPRS) connection is generally slower however connection availability is higher and is more reliable 3G (3rd generation) connection is faster however the transmission range from mast is short and bandwidth is allocated equally between users, so if you live in a city you will be sharing this connection with your neighbours. The I phone is often demonstrated in shops using WIFI which is clearly faster but is a cheat as that has no relation to the mobile network, they won't tell you they are doing that though...... |

I've looked at that many operating systems, handsets, networks, tariffs, I've sickened myself.
I'm dropping onto a month by month rolling sim only contract for a bit, til the market place settles down (if it does) so I have more time to decide. thanks for everyones input! |
