As far as I can see the only upgrade is the shocks, everything else seems to be a down grade. They went from aluminium to plastic on the diff housing and suspension arm mounts. The chassis is said to acomidate a larger variety of lipo's, wich is a very good thing, but I'm sticking with my MK1

That's not what I said, i'm sure they've been tested thoroughly ............. but a couple of the best drivers in the country have tried them, they can drive anything ...... doesn't help the rest of us mere mortals does it? .......... and they've only been used to win on an indoor track .......... not a lot of bumps to soak up there was there? :)

Save your hard earned and wait and see how the Cougar goes with the big bores in the hands of the normal driver. If you think it will make a difference to your Cat after that then go ahead and buy them. Just personally, i'd wait and see how they went before changing. :D

Like some of the others have said why downgrade just to get bigbores, im just going to keep my cat and change the odd part over to the SX2 parts as i see fit which will most likely be the shocks, no real point changing to the plastic parts as a weight saving.. have to run 1600g in australia as it is anyway if the cat gets any lighter i'll have to start adding weight.

buy another Cougar for spares, put the big bores on your Cat SX and save a good few pounds in the process, how's that for an option?
