Really, you need a proper tyre glue like this . Its superglue, but very thin and runny. Fit the tyre to the wheel, then pull the sidewall on one side up slightly and add a drop of glue to the rim, before replacing the tyre. Gentle rotate the wheel and the glue should spread around the rim. Repeat on the other side of the tyre.

Thanks for that and those rims will fit my car.

Yes - You want HPI, Hot Bodies (which is also HPI) or Kyosho wheels. They all use the same hex fitment. Losi, B44 and Cat wheels are different and won't fit.

What lipo charger is the best or what charger do you use (if you would recommend it).

Si Coe 07-01-2010 01:27 PM

The most common charger is the Core UDC20 or 30. The 30 is replacing the 20 so unless its a killer deal on the 20 buy the 30.

The next most common group are IMAX chargers (B5 and B6) which are basically the same as the Core UDC's internally but in a different case and available via Ebay for a lot less than a Core.

However even this cheap Fusion will work OK. Its not clever, only does Lipos unlike the others (which is partly a good thing as you can never charge on the wrong mode) and at 3A isn't the fastest, but its 12V and Mains and half the price of a Core

Thanks for that but i don't like the look of them ebay sellers. Are they legit?

Si Coe 07-01-2010 02:07 PM

Mostly!

Some also have shop websites too. I've used RCModelland before - they do the IMax in blue and the Mystery (same charger in red) for slightly less.

They are all 12V supply. You either need a power pack or the AC version for mains use. You can buy those in the UK too - this Core one also does the B6.

What tyres are on them or are they just rims?

Si Coe 07-01-2010 03:48 PM

Its just the rims, but Chris did have some Schumacher Yellows to match them. Do you still have any?
