Don’t forget there is a new alloy rear gear box housing U3555 which has the option to mount the shocks front or rear with out the need for extra spacing.

Never tried the shocks on the rear never felt the need to. But never say never.

Mike

Similar story for me, used them once at the rear (if memory serves me right - which probably means I'm wrong) and never really liked it. Could be an option to be tried on a bumpy track such as Coventry if I get there over the winter but other than that I haven't felt the need too

Have people made a template or something to drill the wishbones?

No template, just measured it and drilled, worked a treat.

I got the optional shock mount kit today, but didnt order the alloy rear gear box housing U3555.

Only just read on the instructions that i need it. Is there a temp solution using the plastic ones?

Matt

yes, space the shock tower off the back of the mount by aprox 6mm this gives the shock enough spacing to mount to the rear of the wishbone without to much of an angle
