exscuse my very late reply to all this, but that rc10 carbon fibre chassis is beautiful!! is it available to buy? if so how much?

Was that the original idea for the S2 then?

I saw some old pics of one of Haggis' old S2's...can see all the development over the course of the time from then to now!

i think it was a graphite version on the Original RC10 tub chassis, which infact associated did one also as i remember running one ..

No i just wanted a RC10 with a carbon fibre tub chassis :thumbsup:

Oh, this is so typical.. And here I was, thinking I had something "new" with my converted Kyosho ZX5/RB5 midmounted 2wd car :(
Never seen anyone doing a 2wd midmotor car with centershaft drive until now.

Its kinda disturbing that you didnt stick with the concept, but instead found
the motor mounted in the more conventional manner(S2 and X6) a better solution..

Well, Ive also learnt it the hard way. Get no traction on loose tracks.
But come winter season Ill give it a go indoors on carpet.
Its predesessor did really good last season!

The spec B car went the best and had very little torque steer, on a gripy track it felt awesome, and steered like a demon, only problem was the slipper as i was using the bj4we slipper so i had no adjustment, it would be worth trying it with a b44 slipper as these are a lot more adjustable ;)

I have the rearend and drivetrain from a Kyosho Lazer ZX5, the slipper adjustment is ok.
I havent noticed any torquesteer nor any rotation when airborne.
And as you say, the cornering is awesome on this kind of layout.
