Having only been in this hobby for afew years, and not being a fan of the old Tamiyas at all, id have to say the Atomic Carbon S2.
IMO it is a beautiful car. |
Mauri ninja or a pb mini mustang for me:thumbsup:. Ninja just because i loved the way they looked so agressive and the mustang because they were the nuts!!
|
I would'nt mind a 4WD RC10 MIP, one of the last RC10 Graphite (with a differently shaped chassis and black plastics) or the Egress of Jamie Booth, with proto arms
|
I'm with Raphael there MIP 4-10, brilliant!!
Though a nice collection of Atomic Carbon cars is like R/C porn for me:blush: |

Yokomo YZ10 or MX4 - YMP Edition
|
Well i sold my flat CF chassi MIP RC10 even though its one of my favourite designed cars. But hands down for me is the car i still drive, the Lazer ZX-S with the CF rear gearbox which is a work of art.

Schumacher short wheel base CAT:wub

There are so many cars listed on this thread that I have never seen or heard of before lol

Hit this addy for a great car that i would probably KILL to own. And a very good car |
Ahh, the age old question of which one- LOL! I have so many favourites. The electric off road evolution has gone from strength to strength and many weird and wonderful designs along the way.
I personaly like vintage racers, but not afraid to like some of the fun cars made by tamiya, marui etc... either. My fav......maybe the Topcat, original Optima but by far the coolest shelfer to own is a car that was entered into major events like WORLD titles or something. Even though you may not have driven the car yourself its a rare thing to own a car that has actualy raced in such a historic event. I have a Procat and Topcat entered into the 89 and 91 off road worlds. |

How about the Hirobo Jealousy, alloy arms, 300 kits ever made in the 80s.:drool::drool: http://www.oople.com/forums/attachme...5&d=1207740394 |

For me it has to be the first cat (the short one) optima, optima turbo, optima pro then hotshot, then a gold tub RC10 with MIP 4wd convertion:drool::drool:. hmmmmm dream |
After watching Jamie Booth win a BRCA round at Southend many moons ago, I agree with a few in this thread my shelf queen would be a Tamiya Egress....
My second shelf queen would be a optima turbo SE, I did run an original lazer from the early 90's, but I always wanted a SE. |
I had a CAT XLS, ProCat, TopCat, Cougar and a Fireblade all mint condition. Also had a NIB BossCat Works but sold the lot.

Tamiya Sand Rover, basic and more arse-end out fun (no diff see) than an SC10. My first RC so has strong sentimental attachment.
|
would love an old tamiya hilux, get all that alloy polished up nicely, the live axles are ace. i have an old optima which i intend to restore, plus a few other cars too, optima mid, pb ace, carbon ultima, yoko works91 plus others. one day i might get round to it.
|
Sold my PB Ace to Nova. Probably should have asked for more by the sound of things:)
Like I said, I'm not really a collector. I love the old cars, but I want to run, and even race them. Bought an old RC10T off here and will be racing in Burys indoor series. I'll struggle to break it anyway, but I know I can get parts. I knew if I broke the Ace that was the end of it, so wouldn't run it. And to me thats no fun.... |
