Cant wait. Crewie start planning ur fantastic tracks. Cough cough crossover cough

Hog 13-09-2009 11:33 PM

I'm sure Dave will be creating some fast, flowing but technical tracks.

Cross over is fun, but usually inherently difficult to marshal, and of course we must consider the younger and less experienced drivers.........

I'm sure that with the fantastic membership that FORCC boasts, even racing on an oval would still create great racing :)

So - back to the racing. Are we going to see some non-FORCC members come and give it a crack? Good way of keeping your thumbs in over the winter, without suffering frostbite lol.

Garry Spice 15-09-2009 03:15 PM

thanks dave....at least someone knows what i was on about!

discostu 15-09-2009 03:45 PM

i will be doing all the winter dates, i just hope there will be enough drivers for the 2wd class so we can have our own heats/finals etc etc

really looking forward to it now, just gotta get a decent motor and ESC, as i dont think the HPI rubbish i got will be up to the job.:p

Hog 17-09-2009 10:09 AM

Karlst - if you're looking for a new ESC / motor - don't forget we run 13.5 brushless / 27T brushed at FORCC.

karlst 17-09-2009 10:11 AM

cheers dude, i will keep that logged into my memory for when buying, is it set to those turns or is that the limit??

i am very new to this so will have loads of questions over the next few weeks

Hog 17-09-2009 10:14 AM

If you're running brushed, you will need a 27 Turn motor. If you're brushless, it's a 13.5 motor. Those are the only 2 types you're allowed to run. No buying a 10.5 and saying "I'll turn it down honest guv'nor".

Feel free to fire any questions my way - or come find me at the club and we can do a "show and tell" session.

jex 19-09-2009 03:24 PM

Hogs show and tell sessions are legendary!!!

He has been known to show more than one person at once and then Tell everyone ;)
