All the springs are either short or long, no crossover. The spring kits are old so the newest springs (blue - the hardest , brown-the softest) are not included. The new front springs are also a bit longer.
In other words you wont find a long and short blue front spring, just a long one.. and only a short front silver spring..
:)

Man - confused myself now.

My AE 2WD front spring kit included :
  • blue
  • silver
  • green
  • black

These are all short springs.
I have a brown spring from the B4 kit

The rear spring kit included :
  • red
  • blue
  • silver
  • green

If you're confused, what about me now :eh?:

anyway, I'll compare my 'short' front blue springs with someone's 'long' blue front springs.

I have to admit, I have had 2 front spring kits but never seen short blue front springs.. only the longer ones

I'm guessing there've been several different AE spring kits then. I'll try to post a picture tonight because I'm VERY confused now since I most certainly do have short front blue springs.

A short spring with the collars wound down will actually feel harder on the car than a long spring of the same poundage (great word):D i think its due to the longer spring having more coils, but my brain isn`t working as its only tuesday
