Hey mate, Hupos Euros winning car setup from 2007 on clay is here:
http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/euros...07EC-Vaasa.htm it's linked with another from mike west in the race report from that event. |
Thanks Jimmy.

Does Jimmy or anyone know what the equivalent rear camber link (upper control arm) geometry would be with the plastic rear hubs for the Euros set-up?
Also Does anyone know how many rear damper limiters are required to run that set-up? Thanks in advance. |
I dunno all these setup are driving me insane...I think Im going to try the stock setup on the 501x WE and go from there. Ive always used 35F and 30R for oil but the pistons up front are smaller so maybe 30WT all around may be better. I will be using the AE springs though.

Which pistons are you using?
|
What pistons were they running as i have no number four pistons?

At the moment I'm starting to dislike Tamiya again (this time its not the bad quality plastics like before) due to this confusion.
When you get a kit the pistons with all manufacturers are piston 1, 2 and 3 so why have Tamiya got 3, 4 and five? Its really daft. So then what pistons did Lee use at the Petit event as he used number two all over, unless that means the second (middle) piston in the kit. Does anyone know. |
no...my kit came with 3's and 4's (501x wce)...so I put the 3's up front and 4's in the rear but I also ordered more separately and also have 1.2's. Im assuming the 3's=1.3 and the 4's=1.4

It's this one, the one jimmy posted 2 months ago.:) It's dated 2007 but still works well. Being 3 years old has nothing to do with it. If not Aaron can surely help you out. |

But's it's probably not a good idea, just a thought.:bored: |
