I'M AFRAID TO SAY THAT YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT A TAD LONGER FOR PICTURES OF THE X11:)
AND NO ONE HAS SEEN THE PROTO-TYPE (AND I MEAN NO ONE) SO THERE WON'T BE ANY SNEAKY SNAPS YET;) IT WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT THOUGH AND IT WILL BE ON THE X11 SITE, VERY SOON! |
JUST TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ABOUT THE ORANGE WHEELS. YES IT DOES MATCH OUR XTREME RC LOGO BUT ALSO THEY ARE LIGHTER AND STRONGER, AND PLUS IT WILL BE A LOT EASIER TO FOLLOW YOUR CAR ON THE TRACK. OR WHEN YOU ARE COMING UP TO LAP SOMEONE THEY WILL RECOGNISE THAT A X11 IS LAPPING THEM AND HOPEFULLY MOVE OUT YOUR WAY. :)
WE HAVE TRIED TO THINK OF EVERYTHING TO MAKE RACING FUN AND EXCITING! AND FAST!! |
I'm sure the original Pred "XT" had Orange wheels - i can remember the first time i saw them, it was a Radio Race Car event at Apex (crowthorne) and both Kevin Moore and Richmond Rogers were running it. Kevin kept destroying gears but absolutely walked the meeting - was an impressive site i have to say, it'll be good to see if you guys can re-kinder those sort of moments, it sounds like you've made some good improvements on the car. It'd be good to get more of them up there in the Top 10 and not leaving just Yardy to fly the flag all the time. Good luck with it anyway, sounds like it's going to be impressive!

You're right actually Nick - i remember those orange dished wheels. Think i had actually tried to forget them!!!
