That's just not right guys. As everyone as said fun is fun and we all need it especially at Nats as it passes time but this takes the biscuit.

I hope whoever has done this owns up to you guys but I expect it not to happen on oOple to be honest.

Whoever did do this (if both incidents are related) do the right thing and own up to the lads, buy G a new belt and apologise to both with a few cold beers and hopefully they may start to forgive....

It's just not right though

Spot on Jonesy!!!!

Who ever has done this does need to put it right!!!! No need to name and shame on here, but it would be good to know an apology has come to "G"!!
I have heard of stuff like this happening in the past, but I thought it was long gone. There are so many other ways to have a laugh, don't mess with peoples car!!!! I have learned that, just ask Alec!!!!!
So do the right thing so we can move on and keep the jokes off the track!!!!

Any practical joke that has the potential to either damage or ruin a run is not a joke unfortunately.

On a lighter note, G I never paid you for the 4 'o' rings i got from you on Saturday. You want me to transfer funds or just pay you when i see you next?

If you find the person/s responsible, shoot them, they wont do it again

Someone has owned up to it and said they never expected my car to run like this. I'm not 100% sure on the actual events, but it ended up being run obviously  I really appreciate them owning up, took some balls.

They have offered me a new belt too, which is nice.

G

Not wishing to hijack... the plural of penis is penises: Clicky (Warning... massive picture of a wang included)

Back on topic, I had a guy back when I was a kid (about 12) who thought it was funny to remove all the hingepins in my car, which I didn't notice (since is was a crapply built Manta Ray, the suspension had enough stick to hold together!!)I got to the end of the straight, braked and my suspension and tranny fell apart... cost me tonnes for a 12 year old!!!

He didn't even have the tact to pretend he didn't do it! He just sat their laughing!!!

Belsten 05-08-2009 06:48 PM

I bet that was very funny to see for a spectator though

Just seen this now, explains Lee's post yesterday - I thought he was just being random.
