its pretty damn cool! good work, and your only 15? you'll be starting your own company soon:p .... check out my mid motor buggy... let me know what you think!....
also... try a softer spring on the rear... that may help give more traction, i did it on my mid motor conversion and it worked a treat!!! keep us posted! Tom |
Well I'm 16 now, and I do want to start my own RC company.
I've seen your work and it doesn't compare to mine, your rig is a beaut. I use T4 springs and green is the softest rating, its better setup now and I ran it on very moist (like semi-dry mud) and it handled great but the steering wasn't like it needs to be. Maybe I'm just too used to my buggy. |
thanks! ... maybe we should start a partnership!! ;)
|
Maybe we should since truck is more popular here than in Europe and all...too bad your ALL the way across the lake in the UK.
|
More input is welcome. :)

looking good!!! and i like the layout, one point though, try and put the speedo on the main chassis, keep a lower CG :)
|
Its not THAT much of a difference. And I'd have to run really lone leads to the motor, and I'm too lazy to do it.
Thanks for the complement. |
fair enough :p! i didnt think about the long motor leads either.
you goy any other projects in mind?? |
My favorite idea is a B4 converted to a nitro. But other than that..I think I might convert a CR to mid motor.
|
I miss this truck after reading all of this again today. It was lost in the mail along with my GTX!
|
ost in the mail, dude that's sad.
You did a great job and it looked pretty much a professional prototype by the end of the thread. Hope to see more of your projects here. |
