I'm pretty sure they know who will be distributing the durango in the UK, these things take time to set up so for now they will sell direct :)

I am certain that all will be revealed and become clear very soon when Durango are "officially" ready to tell the world (and most important the UK).....

Darren, I was only putting what I was told by them, how I read there mail was that they would be supplying Europe (inc UK) end users, directly from there HQ & not have a distributor in the UK.

Maybe this is not the case, hopefully some onewill back it up in the UK, as i think it as an awsome kit!!

Was not disputing what you wrote Marc, just that there is a lot of "rumours" floating around at the moment regards the cars availability and pricing, one mintute this company has it, then that company has it, they will have a distributor, they wont have one.......and even a lot of the "press release's" that I am sure start out direct from Durango are all being interpretted in different ways depending on what news site you read.

I agree, I think the car looks good, there is definatley room in the market for it and we also would dearly love to be involved in the sales of it somewhere along the line (either at distributor level or even as just a retailer).

Now if someone "official" from Durango (or even the unheard of Durango UK) would like to come on here and set the record straight once and for all I think a lot of racers and shop owners would appreciate it greatly.....

Joking aside, here's a statement from Team Durango to clear the situation up and point out exactly the current intended path:

"We are delighted and very proud with the reaction to the announcement that our new car, the DEX410, is to be released at the end of this month. Although interest has been huge, from all around the world, it is important for us to make the time to listen to our customers, and potential customers, for whom we create products.

For the foreseeable future, Team Durango Ltd (UK) will be selling the DEX410, spares and options directly to RC racers in the UK (and Europe and the US in the short-term until we can confirm distribution partners). It is possible, that as our product range grows, we may distribute in the UK though a partner(s). As and when this may be we cannot say at the moment. We would like to thank all of the oOple fans who have commented on the DEX410.

Team Durango - Serious About Racing"
