I think the Yank's are running the SC10's for 8 minutes? With current LiPo capacity that would be easily achievable?
* Tracks must be jumpy as possible * Contact is allowed :D <-- My only rule inputs :D Hope it all works out Mark, the SC10's would be quite fun to watch as a massive heat of them. |

sticking to kit tyres is a great idea, although I've yet to try my sc10 out on grass, so I have no idea how well the kit tyres work. the whole thing has to be focused towards racing on a very tight budget. |
How about 6 minutes for those running brushed/NiMH's?
Would this be best for all? Thanks, Mark |
I think 10.5 is PLENTY for the SC10's stock tyres, you would need crazy skills to drive anything faster.
If you run an SC10 meeting at Hereford or Ledbury? then I am definately in, dates permitting. I'd like 8 minutes, but I here what your saying Mark, a stock RTR spec motor probably wouldn't make 8 minutes on a grass track. Maybe try 6 or 7 minutes and see how that goes. |
I ran an SC10 for the first time yesterday
what a larff :):) we ran contact rules - Mass start final the race was 5mins long but we kept going for ages after I ran a 8.5 and i think it was fast enough with lipo Every one who ran i think will agree it was the best class yesterday at COBRA and exepted the fact that you might get taped or wiped out. |

Sounds like a scream this. Hope it takes off! Get some videos up!!!!
|
shame we didnt vid the final yesterday
there where some amazing punts going on lol also a lot fo rubbing with out take outs- i did 3 laps behind harris with out taking him out- and then well it was the last lap whats a guy to do when the door is closed- ram his way passed lol |
I find them very cool, being an accurately scaled down version of something I find ace. So keeping the rules as close to the full scale rules in terms of racing is what the aim should be.
i.e. Line starts, rubbing, big jumps & big balls. |
