i think the bristol area would be bang on as it is central for most and easy access via motorway. Nothing going on racing there either i don't think??

Even had a look around for sites .... but anything permanent indoors is gonna be way to expensive for most Rc clubs tho ....

Only place I found was a vast wasteland underneath the M5 bridge at Avonmouth ..... completely unused and covered by 6 lanes of motorway .... nearly as good as being indoors :thumbsup:

There must be loads of sites like these around the country too .....

Another vote for Bristol area...there's nothing close by here, the closest is an hour south or hour or more north.

The BRCA even seems to have a lack of a South West region...so we're missing out a little. About time we had one I reckon!

There is a model club near (Elmbridge Model Club) me that has been threatening to start a car section for a while (they are mainly boats and planes). I don't know too much about the club but know they have quite a lot of land and are within spitting distance of the M25 by the Windsor/Staines turn off. Might be worth having a word with them?

I think the west side of the M25 is best - ideally near the M1 ;)

Best place: joins up with A40/M40, M1, M4 etc

I reckon somewhere between M3 / A3

All of these things point to elmbridge club, between the M4 and M3 on the M25

Ah ok. Don't want to take numbers away from other clubs etc.

If it'll be close enough Steve Brown and I may make the trip..
