This is an indoor race, here's a link to the 2007 report we did: http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/supercup2007/

Matt Alcock 10-02-2009 11:18 AM

Matt Alcock 10-02-2009 11:36 AM

its a longgg way, i live in birmigham:D

DaveG28 10-02-2009 09:01 PM

Should we be getting a comfirmation email??

Mike Hudson 10-02-2009 09:17 PM

if i remember last we either didn't get one or it was much more near to the time of the meeting as there will be many yet to book in and heat listing made etc

jimmy 10-02-2009 09:28 PM

If the form said anything other than 'your form has been submitted' - then you're not in!!!! Seriously though - I can send you an email at the time but it's exactly the same as seeing the on-screen confirmation I'm afraid.

The only person who can tell you 100% that you are confirmed is the person doing the booking in and sorting the heat lists. But like I said, as long as it didn't say something like '404 error, your entry was screwed up' then your details ARE with the Batley officials.

Matt Alcock 10-02-2009 09:53 PM

could somebody link me to some rules on the event etc??

or tell me what they are

cheers

Mike Hudson 10-02-2009 10:03 PM

was sure I saw rules on here somewhere but can't find them, it's just the usual rules you'd find at a regional meeting tbh, lipos are allowed aslong as there hardcased and taken care of etc. and the rest of usual stuff, in previous years they've used round by round qualifying so i guess thats going to stay the same?

Matt Alcock 10-02-2009 10:17 PM

control tire??

Mike Hudson 10-02-2009 10:30 PM

schumacher yellow compound minipins/minispikes are the popular tyre choice there, don't think there has ever been a control tyre for this event as these are the only two tyres that work the best on their hall surface and carpet i think

Matt Alcock 10-02-2009 11:00 PM

cheers, im a newb to 2wd.

used to racing outdoors with big stuff and a engine!!!

Matt Alcock 10-02-2009 11:17 PM

Mike Hudson 10-02-2009 11:51 PM

it was said lipos are allowed

Matt Alcock 10-02-2009 11:57 PM

Mike Hudson 11-02-2009 12:00 AM

Matt Alcock 11-02-2009 10:21 AM

One of my shells is bright yellow on it lol!!! should be easy to spot. Just what the one i'v brought comes with, usually have, bright pink, white or orange on my normal shells. Never settle on one colour!!! lol
