Northy 13-02-2007 08:09 AM

John, I'll offer my help now. Only running 1 class and 13 heats, I'll need something to do! :)

PS. I like reff'ing :)

reffing hell

super__dan 13-02-2007 09:23 AM

John, I normally do the timed practices and whilst I don’t mind doing them doing a heat order practice would be MUCH better in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mark christopher 13-02-2007 09:48 AM

yup would also sort out any in heat problems,

Sorry to let you know so late but I wont be able to make it this weekend for the Supercup. FYI, I was booked into 2WD.

Hopefully someone will be able to benefit from my cancellation...

Thanks

Yeah.... Anyone who was in your heat... They'll get a clean run....muhahahahahahahahahah.

Oh just had to get that one in....:D

Harsh, but ultimately fair :)

andys 14-02-2007 10:37 AM

Lipos ?

Can we run Lipo at the Supercup ?

Please :)

Andy.

jimmy 14-02-2007 10:48 AM

I don't think so andy I'm afraid - a dodgy motor I think no one would care, but lipo would have some people up in arms! lol I had this conversation with john a couple of days ago - and the level of competition is very high so I don't think it would really be fair right now since not everyone can enjoy the benefit.

Having said that, I am running the Keen Hawk - and the only pack that will fit in it right now is the trakpower lipo. :D

andys 14-02-2007 12:53 PM

Jimmy.

Everyone 'can' enjoy the benefits ! They are readily available in all good model shops :) I've got the brushless in the X6 now, so i just wanted to see how fast I can get it to go in between crashes !

Who's responsible for any such rulings and 'policing' who's running what. I bet there will be people running Lipo ?

Northy 14-02-2007 01:04 PM

Is the meeting going to be run to BRCA rules? If so then no Lipo.

No firecrackers either I guess. :)

G

super__dan 14-02-2007 01:05 PM

Andy, the Supercup is being run to BRCA rules as such Lipo will not be allowed, same as motors should all be legal to homologation rules.

Now the amount of active Batley members is really quite small so scruitineering is a challange at the best of times, I dare say we will be appealing for volunteers as per normal to help a round or 2 through the day, so policing will be as best possible.

Lets stick to the normal and sensible rules and everyone (including the organisers) should have a great day!

Chrislong 14-02-2007 01:47 PM

I attended the Micro GP in 2006, and anyone running Lipo was forced to pit away from others. This is because some deemed them dangerous and didn't want to pit by anyone charging the fireworks.

Does this concern still exist?

So for me, regardless of ontrack performance, until any safety concerns are clarrified (officially and not by any 'know-it-all' on here) id like to keep them away.

jimmy 14-02-2007 02:08 PM

Oh geez -- and thus starts the hype again! :D

Thats cool though. I also think any intellect cells should be charged outside in the cold, along with anyone charging over 5amps - I will be round to check you and dan and complying with these 'rules' that I just made up. :o;)

jimmy 14-02-2007 02:38 PM

I'm gonna have to close this thread if we (including me) can't keep on track - lets talk about the supercup instead of dragging up old discussions.
:p

mark christopher 14-02-2007 02:50 PM

jimmy could you do me some name decals for sunday?

Chrislong 14-02-2007 03:41 PM

Aaawww, and I thought you'd like my "setting cat amongst the pidgeons" technique.
;)

super__dan 14-02-2007 03:50 PM

Chris, hush, don't stoke that fire, there is no need. we are running to normal regional esqu BRCA rules unless Steve (Chairman) decides different as far as I'm concerned.

I'm begining to go from really looking forward to this event to almost dreading potential arguments on the day. Lets try to just stick to the racing on the day eh?
