It was an experience. But he is a genuine guy that wants to build and design rc cars. (He does have a really good engineering knowledge/skill.)

MiCk B. :-)

I had the pleasure of his company next to me on Sunday. He came in with bags of stuff and created a materpeice with a dremmel tool!:woot:

9 hours of solid work, he didn't stop all day. His work area resembled your dads garden shed work bench. S**t everywhere:lol: Brilliant!

Thanks Nicholas, it was a great meeting and I hope it's even more popular next year and thanks to all the sponsors on the awesome prizes - I was really impressed with the quantity of awesome gear on offer.

Talking of which Jimmy, does anyone know the name of the young man who won our X6 that we put in, Chazz wants to put the name up on the website alongside young Daniel Newman who won the X60 that we put up for grabs....

William Johnson. He races at Faversham car club.

Each year I worked hard to get this quantity of awesome gifts to offer to drivers.
At the 1st and 2nd edition were same quantity (no, sorry! More quantity of gifts).

My only deception is that UK distributors seemed not concerned by my PETIT RC RACE (no reply of my emails from them) (excepted Team Xtreme (thank you again for the X11) and DMS with Select Models Shop + Xfactory in latest days before the race).
Never mind.... you enjoyed the hard work and I also enjoyed to meet you all. That was the most important for me and Maritime club.

Thank you again for coming and your kindly words about my PETIT RC RACE. As usual I will do my best for the next edition with Maritime Raceway club.

Thank you.

One thing I can agree with is Manolis skills, putting his ideas into reality are second to none.

He takes in what you say and makes the items you need out of a block of alloy, and is ridiculously accurate with his machining skills. I have had lots of stuff made from other people and sorry to say it but they are not as good as what Manolis can do. He is an artist with metal (as well as his very gifted girlfriend).

HKP and Jimmy can vouch for that as they saw what he made for my car.

LOL, it was a little embarrasing to be honest. Blondie asked me if I'd been doing this (racing) long, I just replied too long, what else can you say???

Here they are. The pics dont do any justice. The top section is a one piece, the two lower sides are separate alloy sections.

The pivot block is also a work of art.

Manolis designed it better as the original design is a five piece gearbox on the front, so decided to make the two top sides and top as one item. He also reinforced the lower sections by beefying them up. Well thought over.
