Do you mean the indoor series that were run between the DMS & Silverstone clubs? Held for a while at Lings Forum (Northampton) for the Silverstone events & at a Leisure Centre in Watford (different to the still current location) for the DMS meetings - both with Ray Paice at race control :thumbsup:
I managed to get some good results with my Mardave Cobra at these events - that car liked flat carpet tracks!

Yes! Those were the meetings :) I thought Bob Miles organized them in the early days, but I might be wrong.. Certainly Ray Paice in the latter years..
Mardave Cobra's were a really good car, especially early in their life cycle. Cheap as chips as well as I recall! I owned a Meteor, but never got around to the Cobra for some reason :blush: I think I had a Boscat or Procat instead after my Meteor.. |
