Guys, thanks, I really appreciate your help. I will make some time over the weekend to strip down and inspect further. There is no play so I am hopeful its just the pin. Although it wouldn't surprise me if there is more damage. Front of these cars seem dam solid though. I'm sure I read somewhere they broke often.

I'm going to do my best to attend a vintage race during 2016, I am building another car to race but will also try and give this one a run.
