You may have just cost me £300.......

I have looked at the re-re kit and the shocks appear to be the V2 versions with the threaded bodies?

Does the chap who did your powder coating offer the service or was that a one off? I would like to do something similar, a different colour though, I wouldn't disrespect you by doing a straight copy!

Cheers, Mark. Yes I'm Mark too, got a bit confusing reading through the thread again this morning.

Hi Chiilout (Mark)

The worlds re-re comes with V2 threaded shocks, V2 slipper and CVD drive shafts.

You would have to pm MHeadling on here for the powder coating. Im sure he would help you.

Flippin awesome as always dude  the orange & black work a treat with each other
Hat's off to Mr Headling for some fine work indeed

xfactor 24-08-2015 08:51 PM

Thank you gainsy.....

Like I said the orange is fluorescent and a lot brighter than pictures. If I can get a outside shot the weekend at Hinckleys grass special, I will try to get the true orange. But its not being run......

Look forward to seeing it's true colour :) got my first rc10 now, a classic, worlds to follow soon, going to have to get them powder coated or anodised, does everything fit back together nicely after powder coating?

Everything goes back together as it should with no stretching or forcing of parts.

The screws on the bottom of the chassis are as is. They don't sit flat as standard and never did with the original chassis back in the day, but if you wanted a true fit you could always countersink a little bigger before powder coating.......

You have gotta get a w0rlds gainsy............:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Lol never owned a rc10, just never liked them don't know why.
But they are cheap and parts are relatively easy to get hold of compared to the schuies I'm doin at the moment, I guess they'll be like bums ..... Soon everyone will have 1 ;)

:blush:Sorry mark the post was meant as a bit of a tongue in cheek comment about peakey getting an rc10.
And the bum joke was in reference to the fact that due to your awesome rebuilds, most of us have or are looking for 1 as a project due to availability and the affordability of most of the parts needed, thought the winky face might have shown that it was a joke but I gues my kiwi humour was lost in translation.

Cheers Adrian
