RC10 GRAPHITE UPDATES !!!!

So all parts cleaned ready for install. I was lucky enough to find a complete front end.

White wishbones, front hangers, front casters, front spindles, axles and hinge pins. Once stripped and cleaned have came up like new with no marks. I fitted new ballstuds,nuts,E-clips, new graphite black tower, white shock bushings and foamy things.

Note the first Edition red slipper, new and never used.:woot: Diff showing driveshaft stopper washers installed.

RC10 Graphite.

I was sorting out my new screws ready for the build and noticed there are 3 different styles of the same screw.

Here are the 3 differences from the dark green re-release screws to the light gold original and noticed that the other screw has a single raised dot next to the cross.

The first screw has the raised dot at approx 11.00 o'clock on a clock.. Sorry for poor picture.

Fitting to the Graphite Chassis

So I started the rebuild today. Following the manual its starts at the front of the Graphite. I was going with 3 washers under the post but will start with 2 until I have painted the body shell. So this is start..........

RC10 Graphite.

I have managed to do a little more to the Graphite today. New battery holder, servo mounts fitted and also a bonus fined of a brand new original RC10 aerial tube YEAH BABY !!!!! :D:D

I will be starting the best gear box ever made tomorrow.... The Stealth Gear Box...... Still by today's standards this gear box in my opinion is the best ever made. Diff is second to none and the box can still handle the power of a 7.5. 25 yrs old WOW !!!!!

Peakey 24-07-2015 10:52 PM

I'm no good with imperial sizes but welshy has a pack of 4 40 if they might do?

xfactor 24-07-2015 10:56 PM

4-40 are for the front wheels and shock nuts. :( 8-32 are basically the imperial size for 4mm metric......
