Nope, very balanced but bordering on twitchy. Loads of traction, my only concern with running the shocks on the back is that the car will push and will feel numb. Worksop isn't exactly an ice rink either so I think shocks on the back will make it slower over a lap. The only time the shocks will be on the back of mine is Batley outdoor.

Gutted I'm not there to run mine.

You may be in for a shock at the next Batley outdoor Regional...

Here it is with the shell back.

I approve of the colour scheme... real men run pink....

Tried mine tonight at Silverstone running Tom's setup. Was excellent, so agile, precise and planted... bags of grip... couldn't ask for more...

Shells now done in my normal paint scheme, courtesy of Ndesign... :D

Anyone had one on some weight distribution scales yet? Interested to see how it compares to a standard mid motor car. It'll obviously have a lower centre of gravity though!

Please Yokomo, lets have some pink rims, can't argue about pink haha, and i can't be doing anymore RIT dyeing, its tedious!

Question, did anybody order spare Z2-415SA steering links? I did, but only got one in the packet? Are they single, or in pairs, just seemed odd to be a singular part was all.

Ill finish the build this week and move on to pretty pictures.

Yeah i did, and yes i queried the single part with MB. all their stock was single part in packet. The yokomo image for the part shows a pair however.

For pink rims, take a look at DE Racing's speedline series. I got some green ones for my future T5M, which will get a Monster Energy paintjob. Their quality is top notch, I liked them better on my RT-6 than the Kyosho ones.

Do you know if the offset is ok? Always fancied some red ones myself.

Offset on their T4 rims is exactly the same as on the JConcepts Monos, so I'd guess that their AE B4.2 wheels will be ok. :)

Dont quite follow the logic. Do b4.2 wheels have same offset as the yz2 then?

They're spot on Danny. I used them last year. Them and the JCONCEPTS wheels.

Sorry, I meant that they seem to stick to the other manufacturers tolerances. B4 hex wheels were what I had been running on my B-Max2 since day one in the rear. They are basically the 2016 Ifmar standard wheels.

Yokomo and AE 12mm hex wheels seem to be the exact same mould, apart from the yokomo have "yokomo" logo moulded on the outside.

discothesnake 22-01-2015 10:06 PM

I use AE, Yok and JCONCEPTS on my car. Even TLR 22 rears have the same offset.

Spoilt for choice

ayske1 22-01-2015 10:19 PM

are these wheels for the yz-2? Oh wells... got 2 full sets of black Schumacher wheels so wont be getting new wheels for a while...
