Thanks all for turning out today. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Sorry if my son was marshaling the races you were in. I'm sure he'll get better.

Shandy 15-06-2014 06:59 PM

Thanks to everyone I talked to for making me feel so welcome on my first ever meet. Apologies for those who I crashed into/cut up/got in the way of as they lapped me..
To the chap who I helped hobble back to his chair after his spectacular fall on the double humped jump thing, hope your ankle feels better soon, and finally to the driver who's buggy parted my hair for me as I knelt behind said jump - thanks, it's a good look for me I think - I reckon I could do without the 'brown adreniline' this brush with death produced next time though, if thats ok?

pddiggy 15-06-2014 07:07 PM

Thanks everyone really enjoyed today. Thanks for running it Dianne. Hope your leg is feeling better Paul

neallewis 15-06-2014 09:03 PM

yup goood fun meeting today even of john price did cheat me out of my second place.
i hung about flying with Paul and after 5 a load of bashers turned up with nitro cars. they saud they had been coming for months, and no one had said they couldn't. i informed them that we get complaints from council and neighbours, and said it was electric only.

this could be why we are finding the astro to be particularly greasy, if they have been coming for months.

i did inform them of the local nitro tracks nearby.

Aire valley 15-06-2014 10:05 PM

Well done Neal ....nitro cars will give the track some stick so probably why it is badly worn in some places.......wouldn't be so bad if they did some maintenance..!

smokes 17-06-2014 06:35 PM

If there are a large group nitro bashers using the track would it be worth googling them to see if they are on a forum somewhere?
