I'm all for pre practice.. but the day before the event?? What an absolute farse! So for that one weekend id have to buy twice as many tyres, pay for fuel there and back for two days and if I didnt do that - have the knowledge im at a disadvantage before i've even got there.

Horrendous decision in my opinion, and im very much considering not spending my money on this series.

I was under the impression that the practice say was the week before not the day before?.... If not yeah it is a bit much

andy110m 06-06-2014 10:27 AM

I like the idea of being able to go and practice because I could. However that's no fair on those that can't.

If I'm right the regionals are to be run to the BRCA rules so the rule Steve highlighted earlier would apply and the track should be closed.

Andywoods 06-06-2014 10:43 AM

Am pretty sure bury and southport will have people practicing the day before a regional on the regional track , iam on the fence here cos i can go and practice on the sat and its 10 mins from my house but i do understand if people cant make it they will feel like they have a disadvantage , but you cant please everybody .

woOdy 06-06-2014 11:24 AM

This is just my thoughts on this. I dont think there should be a practise the day before.
On that it is down to the Regional Rep (Stu) to sort this one out. Good luck!

stuart slmcc 06-06-2014 01:30 PM

Cancelled !! but I can not help if the club is open the day before

stuart slmcc 03-07-2014 04:49 PM

I have been asked to let you all no, Can you please unload your cars and park out on the road to fit everyone in.

danDanEFC 03-07-2014 09:04 PM

So no cars let in at all OR cars in to drop gear and then they leave?

stuart slmcc 04-07-2014 05:51 AM

Drop your gear off and move your car, van, bike, tricycle, hello kitty scooter out and park up out side of the gate to maximize room please
Just in case here are the details for you sat-nav users Lomeshaye Way, Nelson, BB9 7AF, Gates opening about 8 booking in from half past 8 with the hope to have a timed heat practice and after the drivers brief racing to start 9.45-10 am. I have been told that the grounds are ok regardless of conditions so unless the track is stolen the meeting is on.
