Only for as long as the wheels stay on, so he doesn't hold up the others too much :woot:

About time the Sarrrfeners did some travelling to some truck meetings, the Dukes of Essex weren't scared away!

It's a shame that trucks, stadium and sc, aren't popular. I did the sc heat at shrccc last week, albeit with a stadium truck, and had a right hoot. I would like to point out that they are quite truck friendly too.....considering I was allowed to join in.

I was on my own at one of my club meetings with my 1/10th truck so I ran with the truggies , just to say they are competitive I came third in the final beating a couple of truggies.

You raced a 10th scale electric in with 1/8th nitro?

Yes with 1/8 truggy nitro, only got hit once but my fault lost it going into a corner in front of one.

I watched some 1/8 truggy action at the Truggy nats at Coventry, my mate and I were both shocked at the pace, as we assumed they would be lightning fast compared to our 10th Electric SC trucks but clearly not, down the straights our Traxxas Slash trucks would have nailed them :)

ANYWAY -The reason I posted here was to just say that I had some family come to spectate (because it was local to them) at the SC Nationals at Robin Hood over the weekend and they have never been to an event like this before and they said they had a brilliant day watching the racing!!

They commented that the racing was great fun to watch and much more lively and interesting than buggies (we had a buggy heat too) and said the buggies were boring in comparison.

This sums it up really; someone with no influences/interest in the hobby came to their own conclusions and decided Short Course Trucks RULE
