on that high angle ramp come up to it about quarter throttle, near the take off punch it and leave it punched while you are in the air, about 3/4 of the rotation for the back flip start to back off so that you start to line you car up to land it, throttle or brake as you would normally to nose up or nose down to land it

Right, got it ............. can't wait for Monday now. How cool can it be to do this to order? ...... I envy your talent , but then again, i'm fatter than you and fatter people are harder to kidnap!!!!!

I'll order the bits in now so I can repair it on site LOL

Doughty - Whats the new power plant then?
If you haven't seen the new vid on www.worm-racing.co.uk, you can see my car backflip there also!

All about the flips :D

just need to find somewhere to put the switch

Danosborne6661 08-10-2008 12:17 AM

Nice! I'll also be running a Mongoose motor but with a Tekin RS ESC
They are nice and small, so should suit nicely!

With the sphere, i'm guessing you get a nice amount of brakes? Opposed to the mongoose ESC

frogger 08-10-2008 08:02 AM

I'm looking at getting a Tekin RS Pro speedo myself to see how it runs with the Mongoose motor. It could be the way forward :D

Danosborne6661 08-10-2008 10:32 AM

Carl - If I were you I'd go for the normal RS
The RS Pro would be a bit pointless in 1 of these micros, the RS would do it perfectly!

The RS Pro is also taller which we don't want in these (Even if you do have a flatty shark)

RS Pro - (33 x 25.4 x 15.25mm)
RS - (33 x 25.4 x 11.5mm)

The reason they are different sizes is because the RS Pro has 3 circuit boards stacked up on 1 another, I think this is to allow for the faster motors? Yet the RS only has 2. I got a RS Pro in my B4 and i'd say it is a bit tall for the job, the RS is spot on

Hectic at times? Times being 5 minutes long yea? :woot:

Smartalec 09-10-2008 06:24 PM

Yep, manic from the buzzer on the first final and then even more manic on the second final ..... but I didn't get nobbled till the second corner on that one LOL

Still, i've learned a lot and was happy with the qualifying ...... just need to get the car flying straight as an arrow for the Wycombe mayhem now :D

Chris Doughty 10-10-2008 01:20 PM

wycombe will reward the driver that stays cool, keeps their head and keeps out of trouble.

Danosborne6661 10-10-2008 02:07 PM
