ive just done the mod and tried it last night, my rear belt does appear to be much closer together than the picture above, i was concerned about it rubbing when running if it was looser or is this not an issue.

initial thoughts were positive although i had poor balance from the tires and was messing about but got some new tires to try for the next couple of weeks.

where are people putting the lipo - forward or back? i found at the back gave a bit too much rotation so ended with it in the middle

I run it with the lipo forward, not actually tried it in a different position yet.

Has anyone also used the steering conversion kit for this as well....??? WHat parts are needed for this?

A little update: car ran brilliant at the last regional (a1 astro), plenty of speed and great acceleration.
Lightweight lipo in the forward position and handles the bumps really well. car just makes minimum weight.
Next round will be on grass, may need to add weight once the grass wears out. Will see. :)
