Has anyone tried to stuff a XX-4 into one of these? I just ordered one.

No never thought about the xx4 shell? but you prob wont be able to get under tray for this as the xx4 has a moulded tub chassis?

ruf 03-10-2008 07:04 PM

Yup. I really don't care about the undertray, but the XX-4 has some very specific needs in terms of the spur gear hump and the steering linkage.

Got this back about a month ago...

I have one painted very similar for my 501 now, this is just a new one for future use.

I hate you all and your fancy paint... These are literally the sweetest bodies and schemes I've ever seen. The black linework on mole2k's is awesome. Is the crinkle finish achieved by blotting it wet?

Awesome shell Aaron, gives me idea's for a new one :D

Hurrah - the capacitor "gonads" aren't dangling over the back end any more!

And have you said goodbye to Velcro now too? :)

Tateego Shells

I need more room for my brushless system, too. I have the same problem with the fan of the LRP TC Spec.

But a new well painted shell costs too much. I am seaching for a used one...... Anyone interests in selling me his one? ;)

I ran the azarashi shell on mine, plenty of room and they look sweeeeeeet :wub

I find the standard 501x shell has ample room. I used to run my motor wires straight over front top deck but when i could be bothered i neatened them up to this. Still loads of space, fan and motor never catch... even managed to fit a motor heatsink and an extra power cap... just for fun...
