Im up for it - silver can at the ready

cunawarit 02-02-2014 11:48 AM

Cool, got motors :-) the only thing I haven't got are Tamiya tyres. What Tamiya tyres are you guys using on carpet?

Torque tuned? How many turns is that Scott?

cunawarit 02-02-2014 11:51 AM

Actually, I have a set of Tamiya rally tyres :-) that might do.

Chris56 02-02-2014 11:52 AM

I think the torque tuned is 25t

cunawarit 02-02-2014 11:53 AM

Right... a lil slower than a G2.

cunawarit 02-02-2014 11:56 AM

If you guys want yo play with silvercans/torque-tuneds and low grip tyres after this next round of high power and high grip tyres then I am in :-)

Chris56 02-02-2014 12:00 PM

Sounds good by me - Saturn 27T and Sorex 32r tyres (good tyres but no grip on our carpet) ok this week?

cunawarit 02-02-2014 12:07 PM

Scott ain't around this week. You guys have your foam tyre "fun" if you want ;^) can be saved for next week. Gives everyone enough time to get the right tyres and motor.

siddus74 02-02-2014 12:34 PM

If people want to say any rubber then at any compound that's cool ... I purchased a job lot of touring car premouts of various compounds all little used I am happy to lend to all .. Sweeps / sorex etc etc ... In fact take you pick, test them and offer me some loose change ... I'm easy ...

At the end of the day if your running a something BRUSHED at 23t and above I guess tyre choice is not overly important as they should not be going that fast ...

Personally i would run 24's or 28's in a tt02 or the tb04 wih nothing more that a torque tuned ...

Chris56 02-02-2014 12:35 PM

I might take you up on that offer Scott - can you bring them along next time. I suspected Id need 28s on the front and 24s on the rear

cunawarit 02-02-2014 01:04 PM

Sounds like the best thing since sliced bread. More desirable than the last Coca Cola in the Sahara!!!

I'm in. Sorex 28s and a 24t.

Scott I might be interested in buying some of those magical wets of yours.

cunawarit 02-02-2014 01:23 PM

And I will run a scale body too... shock horror!!!

Clubman enough???

Will run it alongside the stock buggy whenever there is a slow motor and rubber tyre party ;)

siddus74 02-02-2014 05:11 PM

I'm not sure I have 24's in used stock ... But if two of you want to split a set of harder and softer compounds after a test that's cool .. If you can find a set that suits you a fiver should cover it ... Or just lend them

Chris56 02-02-2014 05:20 PM

You're on! - i'll just continue to infuriate Earl Slowchops with my foams until I can find a set of rubbers that can cope with my superior driving skills:p:lol::D

msmith105e 02-02-2014 05:44 PM

I will be running on 13t brushless and rubber tyres next week :D

reg 02-02-2014 06:16 PM

Sounds like good fun :D

cunawarit 02-02-2014 10:33 PM

The new site could do with a form to collect people's intended Clubman drive :)
