wow what a shock!!!

That was my first off road event in 10 years and the first time i had driven a 4wd car.

I didnt half struggle after racing on road for the last decade, one thing i can say though it is one of the most enjoyable meeting i have attended in years and i knew hardly anyone there.

A special thanks goes to Dan Greenwood and your mate. i have never spoken to dan before and after watching my qualifying and seeing me struggle with the art of jumping gave me some tips, thanks Dan.

This would never of happened in touring cars and i cant wait till the next round, but i do need a hell of a lot more practice.

another thing slightly off topic , has anyone ever split the o rings in the AE shocks as i did both my rears yesterday

:)

Wot a fantastic day:D Good racing and good fun all round. The new Mtroniks speedo was unbelievable. Very Very smooth and so much power. Good jobs boys over at MTRONIKS. Thanks.
Well done to Batley Club for putting on a very good event and well run.

jimmy 13-11-2006 11:36 AM

Yeah to be honest the track was good, I drove like a nutter though which was a shame.

I can only see the thumbnails on that site... can't see the enlarged ones just a lil' red X, which is annoying as I can see pics of my car! :( (the B4 with the pink gear cover).

Good meeting though, despite my crap driving.

Stu 13-11-2006 05:50 PM

Anyone else having the same bother?

jimmy 13-11-2006 05:54 PM

I've had it in the past but no, works find for me

Stu 13-11-2006 06:55 PM

People have mentioned before that they won't work on PC's at places of work but do on home PC's. I think can fix it.
I've added G's driver interviews BTW.

WHITTLER555 13-11-2006 07:01 PM

Description of Mr Latham - legend!!:D

Although some at this particular race meeting were far more CD than Carl!!

tc2k 13-11-2006 07:32 PM

Had a great day as I expected but the track was just not to my liking, slippya s a mofo. However I guess its just hard to adapt to being used to grippy teesside carpet. Well done to everybody who took part and especially those who found it hard like me :p

Nice pictures jimmy although I was sure you took one of my car but its not there

jimmy 13-11-2006 07:38 PM

I get loads of pics that I dont put up mate, some dont make the cut, others do but repeat a theme (going round the same corner) etc etc.. Whats it look like and I'll have a look

tc2k 13-11-2006 07:39 PM

Aye I understand, I guess I was too fast to get a decent shot of ;)

Its a black car with purple spikes at the front and back of it. No worries though if you cant find it

Stu 13-11-2006 07:49 PM

Couldn't see at all for about 10 secs and then had an EX shaped blind spot for about 30 mins, yeah, cheers.

Its not big and its not clever!

Stu 13-11-2006 08:07 PM

It may not be clever, but, it is bright.

Northy 13-11-2006 08:24 PM

Those interviews are ace, they made me laugh out loud, and I did them! :D

Where is Carl on here now, I miss his endless babbling....... ;)
