anyway, like you said, thats probably for another topic...

go LRP!

Spot on

Anyway I'm thinking the yanks will be hard to beat, Truhe, Cavaleri, Drake, Tebo etc

A 1hour final is a bit of a lottery though, if your in it you stand a decent chance.

bigred5765 09-09-2008 02:10 PM

omg is that for the rock crawling comp, lol

niggs98 09-09-2008 02:36 PM

reminds me of the euros in france a couple of years back racing on hard pack chalk and had a simlar obstical that was so random that it won and lost races. not good

Neil Skull 09-09-2008 10:11 PM

It has to be an American.

Drake, Lutz, King, Pavidis, to name a few

Many Many drivers could win, i really dont expect cragg to win the Uk drivers will have to rasie the game to compete with the US guys on home ground.
Even the good european drivers the Agions Reckward Bertin etc will have to make the best race to just qualify for the A Main.

maifield for me!

You do have a point, but there is nothing like the biggest race of all time to make someone raise their game, some people rise to the meeting, some do the oposite.

any live coverage?

I think it will be very hard for anyone but Americans to get into top 10.

There is perhaps a chance for Savoya, Y. Aigoin... or similar of getting here.

But the top bunch of Americans - Drake, Truhe, Maifield, Tebo, James, Cavaleri, etc etc etc I think there is nothing between them, so hard to say who will win. That is of course assuming they are all in the Worlds, not all the good US drivers got places :o

Hopefully the Americans will be shocked at how flat and the track is and that there's not the usual 50 foot jump they normally have on US tracks and go home crying

caneye 13-09-2008 06:49 AM

let's not forget, the last time the worlds was held in the US .. it wasn't won by an american!!

woot ..

i remember Reims Nathan but i also remember it rained all week & the weather was the biggest obstacle for all the drivers
there was a similar log section in Crete for this years Euros
the regular drivers crashed out on it but the fast guys just cleared it every time!
the fast guys are fast whatevers on the track!
i think it shows the organisers have just tried to provide a more varied challenging track

not sure who's gonna win, an hour main leaves things wide open

Robert Battle is FAST tho
Renaud Savoya is consistant
Drake & Truhe are awesome around there
too many good drivers to choose from

one things for sure its gonna be a good one

Moose 13-09-2008 11:12 AM

TQ: Jerome Aigion
Win: Battle

Chris Doughty 16-09-2008 10:46 AM

Seems that Truhe is dialled after first praccy, Travis maybe more-so but he ran in an earlier heat on a greener track (litterally - there is grass on it!!)

but it seems those times can't be held to much, people still tuning and testing.

it certainly is going to be a close call!!

Northy 16-09-2008 11:14 AM

Got to be Taylor James, just because he's ACE and he runs Jammin's car, and Jammin is DOUBLE ACE

i predict the rain will ruin the meting & it will be more about luck than driving! damn shame

Northy 16-09-2008 12:38 PM

Yeah, it's raining isn't it Adam?
I was on LiveRC but couldn't log in or get and video or sound. I saw you guys busting each others balls though! :woot:
