After also speaking to a very helpful chap on the phone from JEModels, and taking your advice into account, he also advised the Orion R10 along with a HPI Flux Pro 7.5T Motor, so these have been delivered today...so hopefully i can get it all set up and ready for the weekend.
Was hoping to come down again on Sunday, meet some of you, and get signed up, is there racing happening this weekend?

I've got the same set up r10 and 7.5 flux. Superb really is. The power of your motor is dictated by the power of your speedo. I've got a spare sp gt 2.0 and the speed difference with the same motor is like night and day.
