A lot of information in this thread, which I have read through but just want to summarise and check with you guys I have at all correct!

I have the Dex rtr so I have 3 gear rear out the box and to convert to 3 gear mid as slippy said all I need is 2 x m23 screws roughly 23mm long and the additional parts on luniemiesters list are only needed to convert to 4 gear and not involved in the conversion to mid?

And the parts I need just to be sure are... ( bear with me I'm a little show! ;) )

http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD310238 of which I only need one of the smaller gears as there is one already in the gearbox, so two smaller gears in total.

http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD310247 idler gear shafts of which I only need 1, again as one already in the box.

http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD601002 2 x bearings, don't know how many already in there/needed in total.

And some shims, not on luniemiesters list but it says on the TD website I also need them:

Also I was going to invest in the dex210 kit for spares as they are so cheap at the moment but I'm having second thoughts?... These few bits would be useful for the mm4 conversion and a spare set of wheels, but shock towers I'm going to carbon ones so hopefully I'll never need to replace them ;) chassis I'm happy with longer plastic one (unless you guys would suggest otherwise!) so that's a grand total of about £30 (£20 for mm4 parts and £10 for wheels) its there a lot else in there I'm likely to need/ break to warrant the extra £70 for kit?...

Cheers guys!
Dean

You need two small idlers. 3 gear uses the one large idler, 4 gear uses 2 small ones.

But they come as a complete set, so no big deal.
