Depends on your lipo height!

You could make it fit for sure...you just need to space the gearbox brace up to allow for that. I've already lifted mine up a little to get some thin lead under my lipo...so sure it wouldn't be an issue if you wanted it to fit.

That does assume that it's the same footprint as a pair of saddles...I don't have one so couldn't say for sure ;)

They are on their way, Estimated weight is 40g so +33g on standard.

Is there a reason for the 64g under the lipo? Do the shorty's bring the car in under weight?

I run with 15g on the servo and 15 over the nose, with saddle packs :) car is 1548g in total

The local tracks to me are carpet, slippery floor and astro. And I have no issues with traction or rear end grip :)

Lipos are already WAY lighter than the nimh-style packs they replaced, and shorty-packs are 100g lighter than standard-sized lipo packs.
