try to order from china. They can sell to you carbon fiber sheets in very cheap price that you never found in any online shops. maybe can do cnc cut for certain quantity. in very good quality.

i bought several sheets in various thickness for my own.

A little tip aswell to tidy up the edges of the carbon fiber and to stop it splitting use nail varnish :thumbsup:

Or just super glue it. Infact whenever you buy anything carbon fibre 2-3 layers of super glue should be applied around the edges

3mm thick sheet wasn't the easiest thing to cut with the dremel and the dust generated was tremendous. I probably could gave used 2mm in hindsight.

I've since made an optima mid radio plate and motor plate from 2mm and this was a lot easier to work with.

What tools do you guys use for holes and the recess for screw heads?

Dependig on what you want to do most fine tooth cutting blades will be fine. I also use the Metal/Carbide cutting dremel disks and they seem to cut 3mm Carbon well

I did this quick job with a hand saw
