Actually, I was so disappointed of what you stated for. I am also experiencing this kind of problem and us of now, I am planning to make a stadium car. Moreover, this car contains of good features such us complete wheels and good tires.

UK Short Course Nationals

Hi Guys

Sorry for the blatant thread hijack, but you don't get if you don't ask!

We are running a heat for Stadium trucks at all rounds of the SC Nationals this year and it would be great if we could get some of you guys racing.

We have a few Stadiums already booked for the first round on the 14th April at Surry and Hants and a few more threatening to book in!

As always with these things the more that enter then more that will enter.

It would be great to at least run a full heat :)

All the details for the series can be found here:

www.ukshortcourse.com

Thanks

Chris

No sorry, I got mine from dinball iirc. $105 which didn't include postage of course, but I went for cheap (read: slow) which took a week and a half. I originally took a look at SMD, considering they're the disty, but JB doe's not do them. Saying that, If you asked him nicely and offered him a curry and a nice bottle of wine, he might get you one especially lol

Wow, this thread has died a death eh.

Just working on a tweak for my TC02T, including lowering the shell as I think it's mounted too high. Also, stumbled on a couple of ali bits from ebay.

Pics of the tweaks coming soon.

Nice pics there dude, although we are talking about 1/10th stadium here, not 1/8th truggy. If there was a "show us yer truggy" (is that a euphamism?) Thread I would blurt out some pics of my hyper st.

Alas, as it happens.

Peakey 05-03-2014 08:40 PM

Sorry my bad

Loving the C4.2T JonD, Shame the trucks aren't as popular as they were.

Heres a couple of pics of the mods I've done to my TC02T, now dubbed the TC02T+ :)

1st indications are from the shell, the rear mounts are now further back, this makes getting the clips one and off a whole lot easier, as their original position between the number boards was fiddly. The shell has been lowered also.

Ah, that could be how then, the wing/body mounts have been moved back and down with this little number, no drilling/butchering required either, but what's that in the lower right of the picture?

A pair of little chassis braces, again, machined so that no extra work is needed to the standard chassis components.

The thing that tells the story though is here, a new T piece, giving a 15mm increase in wheelbase, thus making the truck less square, and hopefully, less prone to it swapping ends when someone so much as looks at it in a funny way.

All pieces are machined from 6062, programmed by hand off the top of my head, in lunch breaks over a number of weeks (and the odd sly one in works time of course;))

Testing it out at the weekend at my local with any luck. Hope you guys like.

Crazy L 13-03-2014 09:36 PM

Testing went ok down the local. Steady 9 lapper, though I'm hoping to get it doing 10s.

The machined parts did what I was hoping as the car was more stable than it ever has been.
