Looks really good Paul canny wait to have a go

paul whittock 02-03-2013 07:44 PM

Thanks for the comments. I was thinking of using the natraul terrain and putting up top above the tlr sign .( The pic at the top of this page). I also thought about building the rostrum where Martin surrgested ...! What the you guys think. I also thought about multi surfaces maybe adding some workshop floor tiles on a corner ... Again I would appreciate some input from you on this. There will some more features added aswell .... Rumble strips, a small table top just before the big 1st jump, anything goes.

paul whittock 02-03-2013 07:45 PM

Sorry for the gramer stupid iPhone . Lol

paul whittock 02-03-2013 07:48 PM

Don't think I will need to order anymore sand to fill the fire buckets

discothesnake 02-03-2013 08:14 PM

I don't think you should do any more Paul. There's plenty of features there. At least wait until you've had some sort of meeting to see how it goes and take feedback from there.

yeah i agree with dave, it looks great as is the now, you can always add later when youve had a few meetings on it to see how it goes,

on the rostrum, you kinda always want it on the opposite side of the fast straight, so you have time to see other cars when your travelling at speed, running a straight under your feet isnt ideal.

the way you have the jumps and so set up, i feel it has to go on the side i suggested paul,

cheers.

paul whittock 02-03-2013 10:23 PM

Yes I agree with you I have tried both sides and it does feel more natraul from the bank side . With the jumps In mind I just feel you have to slow up quite a lot before taking the two big jumps, it might feel better to add a small table top or a feature so it slows you up naturaly . It's a quick track very grippy even in the wet . I could make small table tops that are movable maybe so if it don't work I can just lift them off .
