Why not just say this when the alloy axle was first mentioned then :rolleyes:

I won't be buying one anyway as my SupaStox is planted and has won the last 4/5 A finals at my club so I don't see the need to be honest and wouldn't want to upset the balance of the car the way it is, I am on my second steel diff axle tho so I can see how an alloy one would bend easily.

Because I had some expectation that people wold work it out immediately given a little hint - basic materials knowledge IMHO. Perhaps not...

And that's another good reason not to fiddle with things. Unsprung weight in that area is your friend, so taking some away may make the car a bit more flighty than some prefer. That's saying it straight away in case people can't work it out. :lol:
