Agreed, very well run meeting as always, and a huge imrovement in the track since last time:thumbsup:

Big thanks and well done to Colin for stepping up as rep part way through the season, and making it look like he'd been there all year:)

George me old mate, please do a different class to me next year, I'm getting too old for all of this coming down to last corner of last race of last meeting stuff:woot:

A HUGE thanks from me to Mick Spindley for being gentle with me in the finals, Top Bloke:thumbsup:

Doesn't it seem weird to say roll on next year while only halfway through July?:o

Thank you to all.....

Firstly well done and congratulations to all our champions, 4wd - George Fairweather and John Myall, 2wd - Johnathon Brown, and er S/C -George Fairweather.
Secondly to all the Colchester crew for laying on a well run meeting after the early morning gremlins had struck.
Thirdly to all the drivers for turning up and supporting the series throughout the year...and last but by no means least, to mother nature for letting us run the last meeting without washing it out!!!
I will get the final tables posted on the BRCA site Tuesday, came to work and left the results at home, Doh'.

Well done to John,George and Jon on their series wins:thumbsup:.
Big hand clap to all the boys at the Colchester club:thumbsup:.
Shame it took me till the last round to ditch the fs2 for the v3 (cheers on your advice Mr Myall).
Enjoyed our close racing in the finals mate,i was good but not good enough.Maybe next year:).
Mr Hubbard should have the twelve generation of the xray buggy by then:thumbsup:.
And if George stays with the losi.It should be Durango domination?:)

You only have to wonder how the year had gone if you'd got a 410 at the start of the year:o

You and Barry have proved the 410 is by far the best choice of car during the last 2 regionals, both shooting straight up to the sharp end:thumbsup:

Next year should be epic:woot:

colin76 16-07-2012 06:07 PM

I must admit I am very happy with the Durango after only two meetings. I feel like I can really push the car, and it's the first time I've out qualified Barry for, well as long as I can remember. I was enjoying the A final and having a good run, 4th at one stage I think until I got hit stripping the servo horn, but that's racing. Now looking forward to the Boughton Summer series round 2 this Sunday. See you all there??

Great finish to the season. Big thanks to those that stepped up because it took ALL of these peeps to get my result - Myally, Spindles, Wrongy, Chester, Colin and George. (most importantly Myally:thumbsup:)

Well done to driver of the day - 'balls-out' Spindles. Superb!

Big hand to everyone involved with running, contributing hosting and supporting.

Looking forward to next season when X-Ray realise what there team is missing and sign me up to spank you Durango sheep. Until then I'll just pull on that woolly jumper.

Other thanks go to, George's glue, Chester's pliers, Heron's dremel, Dufton's drive shaft, John's Gazebo, Roper's rings. (sound like euphemisms )

Have you ever driven a xx4/ owned one? I wouldn't be so sure.

Great meeting with some good close racing and a good track layout. Well Done to the Title Winners.

Will be at Boughton Rnd2 with 2 and 4wd, Woo Hoo sunshine please......

wrighty 16-07-2012 09:45 PM

Well done to all was a good series shame my gremlins wernt sorted earlier on ..as for card i think a few may have been shocked as george was lapping the xx4 round after the meeting and it was quicker than the 410

JohnM 17-07-2012 05:56 AM

I still belive the XX4 is very probably the greatest RC car ever made, so I'd say George will be more then capable of winning with one.

The only area I can see that will give us all a chanse against him is it might not be up to taking crashes at the speeds cars are going at now.

No. Because I won't be able to keep up :(!
And my old ripper is 2wd! so I'll need you to be going as slow as poss!

I'm sure about one thing, the word BANTER between racers, some people obviously don't know the meaning of the word:).

If george drove a buggy out of "toys r us" he would be in contension:thumbsup:.
