Right guys 2 people have been on the track running there cars this evening by a club member who lives round the corner .Please do not use the track other wise if your seen running on it im told you will lose you ftq . Also you are trespassing as well. We have worked very hard over the last 2 days on the land and track and do not want to lose this place as well . AGIAN DO NOT JUMP THE FENCE its not ours it belongs to the ski slope and they helped out by letting us use there car park . Any issues please see my self Stuart Jones or Tom Jenner

I've just realised I don't have a transponder for tomorrow.

Do you have handouts or can someone lend me one?

Driving the track day before the regional

This should be a black flag offence!
Even if they say they were not aware it was not allowed, they were knowingly gaining an unfair advantage. They now have the tyres sorted, and the lines etc. They should be dealt with.

Here...Here.

Entry to a meeting is always at the Race Directors discretion - show sneaky cheats the door (or gate in case of outdoors in a field). :p

Anyway guys, pictures look good, well done on getting sorted out at short notice.

I'm in Windermere tonight, Weather is clear & dry.
Any idea what time it's kicking off tomorrow? I've not seen any mention of time.

Hopefully it should be a good day!

cherryc 21-05-2012 01:53 AM

big thanks from all at southlakes to all that turned up today , was a great day all round, with some gud close racing

Pitman Ed 21-05-2012 08:08 AM

SL organisers,
Very well done under difficult circumstances. A lot of thanks for all the effort.
Understandably the track struggled initially, but after a couple of rounds we had a typical grass track, and thats a nice change from synthetics when the weather is kind to us.
I hope you guys continue to host regionals. Helpful friendly people, nice part of the Country; thanks again.

losichris 21-05-2012 08:15 AM

think the track really leveled things out with 11/12 lap rounds made it very close, track was more of a challenge than i expected and dug up by the last round and finals.
