But... The front end on the 22 can be quite twitchy. and i has loads of grip to start with. I think you may struggle with the rear end with 4wd fronts.

Minty had 4wd fronts on at ribble valley friday, and he didn't rate it. went back on slims.

there is no way it will kick the back out with these tyres;)

@Ross Interesting bracket you've made for your ESC there, just a metal plate you've put between the battery and the mid motor brace? And some screws or something from the holes in the mid motor braces into the metal plate?

Yeap thats it, 25mm up x 40 out for the speedo to sit on, it the bolts through the gaps in the motor mount. You'll need to counter sink the screws, or they hit on the LiPo

Could you take a picture of the screws and such behind the lipos for me to take a closer look? Either post it here, or send me a PM? Would really appreciate it =)

would you be able to tell me exactly which parts are required, and what rb5 wheels are they? Never seen spoke wheels for kyosho.

tisher 15-05-2011 04:57 PM

right guys for all that want to know about the kyosho set up. the front spindles are kyosho zx mk1 cvds cut of behind the joint and the rear are kyosho drilled out to 5mm with spacers on the outside the spoke wheels are 3 racing wheels for kyosho zx . kyosho lazer fs front wheels give you exact offset to the losi where as the standard lazer are slightly wider hope this helps save you a few quid

Cheers for the info Tisher,
The fronts i understand but the rears can you explain in simpletons terms please, its just that when i put the kyosho wheels on the 22 (rear) theres about 10mm of axle before you get some thread,so how did you space it out, the only way i could see to do it was to put three hex's together somehow?
Cheers Mick.

rears budy just drill the wheels out to 5mm so they fit on the spindles then just put them straight on the losi hex then just use a spacer on the outside of the wheel before you put the nut on

Ssshhhhhh! Don't tell everyone I did that!!:-P Looks better with a car underneath and some stickers on top, but I really regret I didn't put a yellow frame around the windows. Weeeeeell, for a five minute paintjob, I think we're both happy enough:P
