here's mine.

only real hassle on the build was fitting al electronics inside.
there is enough room for it, but in my eyes its only the body that makes it so hard to cram everything in:thumbdown:

eventually had to ditch the velcro (wich i liked) and made my own battery holder of some thick aluminium, so i could fit the esc on it as there was NO way that esc would fit on the place losi had intended!

was more interested in running this beauty so no fancy paintjob here.

specs:
- speed passion gt2.0 pro esc
- speed passion V3 7.5 turns
- 60c 5400mAh lipo saddle packs
- savox low profile 9kg servo

currently running on a 1/6 (yes 1/6) astro track with some major bumps for a 1/0 to handle.
followed the stock UK setup and its done well for me. drilling out the pistons to 6 hole was a major inprovement!

I have found that the car does not like bumps it just seems to bounce around,

I ran the car last week at batley which is a astro and grass track but very bumpy and slippery,

Hence making a radical change, I have just got the shocks to sort out.

And fingers crossed it works:p

ronny191 08-05-2011 03:56 PM

hmm that could be, but i find it hard to believe,

im running with a couple of friends at the local racetrack and they are running:
- 2 asso B4's
- durango dex410
- ansmann x2c
- asso b4 with the X6 conversion
- asso T4

of all those no doubt the T4 handles the bumps the best, as for the buggy's mine seems to be the smoothest one. infact, it also looks like the losi is the more forgiving car to drive

im no expert on this at all, but the other one's have definatly some strong points in other areas on track.

my losi is also the light one in the pack, so i would assume it should need some weight (currently have none in the car) to make it a bit more planted in the corners, but im affraid this would make the car more bouncy over the bumps????

change to piston 54 and use same oil 27.5 maby a softer spring to at rear. the rear is not working to good with orig setup. maby unturn the damper cup 0.5 to 1 turn out (oring cup) to free up damper rod movement.

G-46 08-05-2011 04:38 PM

We have tried a number of things,

Oils and springs, will be changing to the 54 pistons when I get around to it.

I must admit I very lucky to have some very good help within stu wood along sibe me.

Don't get me wrong the cars good but just not as good as it can be. Play time is always fun:woot::thumbsup:

@ Frogger

neat, like the QD 4mm plug pullers, there

What have you used for the battery strap post, a TC bodyshell post?

Yup, it's a Tamiya body post, I'll throw a couple in with your lipo. I used a flat bit of carbon for the rest. Very quick and easy.

Hi Tisher, What are these wheels ?

tisher 09-05-2011 08:29 PM

3 racing for kyosho;)

King Cobra 12-05-2011 12:43 AM

where did you get the wheels? did you modify the hex at all? and did you just put a set screw with a nut or what?

coleman758 12-05-2011 10:53 AM

I do like those wheels!

But... The front end on the 22 can be quite twitchy. and i has loads of grip to start with. I think you may struggle with the rear end with 4wd fronts.

Minty had 4wd fronts on at ribble valley friday, and he didn't rate it. went back on slims.
