The decision was made Chef not to allow a 2wd to run in a 4wd class for numerous reasons. If a car breaks during a race meeting and cant be fixed then of course, we wont send anyone home from the GP, so we'd let a different car race in this circumstance. But to enter without the right car in my opinon is'nt right. Anyway, Jonathon now has a 4wd so all good. All happy, lets move on now....

Dudders 07-11-2011 10:35 PM

You'll be bumped up as and when. To be honest your 3rd in the line so I really would expect an 'in' next week. Plan to come and we'll see what occurs

a) If you can race in National and International events with a 2wd in a 4wd event so long as it meets the weight limits then that makes your opinion wrong.

b) Interesting you gave a much better and longer explaination here than the stupid pm you sent me

Tony, this isn't a national or international meeting though and also this issue has been decided on and now finished. The person in question now has a 4wd.

As you know my pm to you last week was written in a rush while mobile, which I and another have explained to you. Therefore it might have been direct and straight to the point.

As far as I am concerned its time to move on from this and enjoy a cracking weekends racing.

Neil

An opinion is a subjective belief and cannot, by definition therefore, be wrong. :p

If someone who is booked into the event breaks his/her car in practice will he/she be told they can't race if the car can't be fixed or will they be allowed to run their up to weight 2wd?

It's hard to say, until we see the track, but I would plan for 1 set per day and an extra pair of rears to hand. Your be fine and if you need any help I'm sure rob will advise.

4WD - 7297849

TARTMAN 11-11-2011 12:03 AM

1 set a day easily.

i am on the same set of tyres on my 3rd indoor meet with a 4wd, doing around 5 races a meet(so 15 x 5min races), so i am sure 1 set will be fine per day with no problem at all...............
