What a great day well done to everyone involved wish I was there tomorrow now ha ha
|
WooHoo
Great day, had by all i think!!!!
Me, well, after being back for less than 3 month, i get my 1st trophy!!!! OK OK, only actually got 2 clean runs and no practice, due to broken hub, broken servo arm and then the "bind" decided it was no longer happy chatting to the receiver and went insane means the last run wasnt one. but after a K final and 3rd place, a little shiny bling has made its way into my sweaty palm. GREAT track guys, great organisation and with 120 people/racers etc, its great planning that made it all happen. Some fantastic close racing from the top biys and some entertaining stuff from everyone. Now, a little relaxing, sleep and "DO IT ALL AGAIN TOMORROW" in 4wd, My prefered class, may my SX3 be good to me and get me a few finals higher....... Great people make this a fantastic hobby to be doing and VERY glad to be back, some truly great people and pleasure to chat, race with and be lapped by LOLOL, or beat, whatever the case may be..... Bring ON the racing!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup: |
Dudders: G Final DOMINATION with the C4.1

Well done mate, car looked smooth and planted well into the corners and balanced on the jumps....
Very impresssed indeed, the conversion is a great one. The driving was Ok to............... lol.......... Sunday racing in a few hours!!!!!!:woot::woot: Quote:

Well Done the both of you! Just wish I had a chance to have my go in the final too... really gutted that I lost the circlip in the 210... Must have happened in the shunt of my early exit of round 4, when the ball joints popped off... Durr-brain me didn't think to check anything else, just put the rods back on...
Despite that a top day and loads of good chat right across the board, from all levels... Top fun guys, thanks.. |
any pictures of today's action, anywhere online ?:)
|
Sorting some video's now... not much though or good though!
|
|
Nice Dude!!
(how did Terry get on?) |
by the way you can thank me, when you see me next, as I'm sure my 'set-up' advice (noticing yer slightly wonky rear spring lengths) made all the difference to your performance!!;)

2wd Race day
What a brilliant day 2wd on saturday was!
Awesome track, Day ran very smooth with alot of tight racing and good commentry. Even got a shiny pot to take home :D Top job Mk racing an the rest of the team who made it happen  Dave |
Big thanks to all the organisers, sponsors, track builders and other helpers who put on a great day yesterday. Not going to risk missing someone out by trying to name you all but you all know who you are .
Track was really fun, not so difficult that only the top drivers could get round it but hard enough that we all had to concentrate. Was a bit worried about the cross over but it worked a treat. You've certainly set the standard for big indoor meetings over this winter Like 90% of the field I think I could have done better and can't even blame a new car as Mr Dudders did ok with his new car..:) Can we do it again next year please?:D Rob |
I would like to thank everyone that made this possible, I realy enjoyed myself and hope this will be an anual event. Great day racing 2WD and had fun pitting for my stepdad 4WD. Also some fireworks :thumbsup:

Great
Fantastic if a damn long racing weekend.
Great organisation and team, awsome event. Hope its a yearly thing! The fire in the car that i moved to the side of the track(why catch light at my marshal pit? lol) made it an eventfull final i was marshalling, and the smell of burning LIPO is still on my cloths and in my throat even now at home... hope i dont die? lol....... Cheers Lloyd Story for all the helpfull advice and putting up with my over active gob, bet you will try moving pit tables if your near me again LOLOL.... H final and 5th for me today so no bling, but that makes no diiference, GREAT racing, Well done Duncan for 1st place in our final, even your previous Hammer work could not stop you! A couple of small breakages and a lost shock spring cup(annoying) did nothing to stop the fun for me, and everyone i saw with busted up something or another had a smile on there faces in the next heat! Rubbings racing people! And the last car that got "cought" in the net was funny even if it was damn close to the rostrum...... think Pip got a pic of that. Well done everyone involved, marc, Dudders, etc etc,............. Worth the hard work i KNOW you will all agree!!!! 10/10 for every part of it...........................:thumbsup:: thumbsup: |
iPhone error DOH!
|
Well what can I say, TARTMAN summed it all up perfectly. A fantastic days racing even if I did have a expensive start when my tx stopped comunicating with my rx and ploughed straight into the first bend on the practice heat. Took me till 3 mins before heat 2 and quite a bit lighter in the pocket ( big thanks to Steve Brown and the rcLazy boys for the spare parts)
Great to meet people from Oople in the flesh especially the lads from way north of the boarder (cheers for the help on setting the 502x up) Once again, great day had by all, thanks to everyone who organised set up and packed away and lets make it an annual thing :-) |
What were the results for today?
|
Thx to MK Crew,
great event really enjoyed it. Whoever designed the track needs plenty of praise, it was very nice to drive. |
Yup enjoyed the venue and track etc.
Poor show by me after problems, only completing one run.. Still enjoyed the meeting and thanks to those who provided assistance to me - you know who you are. |
Thanks to all of the MKGP crew for a really enjoyable days racing !
Well organized and the track was ace. Nick |
Brilliant weekend, ace track, fantastic atmosphere.
Big thanks to EVERYONE  |
Another big thank you.
To the MK crew, Rob and the other guy at race control for the banta and running a shapely ship. Had a great day 2wd yesterday even if the red mist did come down. Had a cracking day with the Drango today first time out too. Great laugh with the Useless boys yesterday and thanks to the guys I pitted with today. |
A top day, very enjoyable, although I think Schumacher will do well out of my shopping list.... 2 out of the 4 heats ended will wheels parting company with my car....
thanks to MK and SHRCCC for providing a top Sundays fun...and also to RClazy for raiding their pit box for a Turnbuckle that kept me going, I recon it made all the difference  |
Bloody great weekend guys!!

Congratulations to Mark Penney from N.Ireland - A Finalist and 7th overall in 4WD. I have never been able to work out why this guy hasn't attracted the sponsorship and support his obvious talent deserves. Maybe things will change now!
